Twenty-sixth Sunday in Ordinary Time
FROM OUR PASTOR

FROM OUT PASTOR
Dear Parishioners,
Bishop Loverde has appointed
Fr. Richard Mullins as the Administrator of St. Louis Parish
in Alexandria effective Oct 12. While Fr. Rich has been in residence
with us he has endeared himself to the people of St Charles, and
especially our youth through his celebrating, preaching and pastoral
outreach. We wish him every blessing in his new role of leadership.
On the weekend of Oct 10/11 we will hold receptions following
all the Masses to thank him and bid him adios.
And speaking of transitions, our Director of Adult Faith Formation,
Michelle Miller, is getting married and heading to Canada by the
end of the year. The job
is posted on our website so please share it. Encouraging and
supporting the adults of this community is vital & inspiring
work.
Thanks to all for a wonderful Ministry Fair. I hope all our ministry
leaders follow up quickly with new volunteers. Parishioners are
encouraged to visit at any time to view the latest Volunteer needs
of the community. We believe in full "employment".
The Oct 4 Conversation with Creedon will focus on care for Creation
as we honor the witness of St Francis of Assisi. Join me at 7pm
that evening in Benedict Hall.

Please email Rosario at rsignacio@att.net
