Funerals

Funeral Masses are normally arranged through the funeral home.

Families can also call the parish office (703-527-5500) to advise of the death of a parishioner. The office will contact Nora Lawson, the Circle of Caring Funeral Liturgy Coordinator, who will contact the family and assist in planning the funeral Mass.

Mass intentions for those who have died may be obtained by visiting the parish office. Mass cards are provided. The suggested donation is $10.

A book of the names of those who have died is in the back of the Church. The names inscribed in the book are remembered frequently at Mass.

Every year, St. Charles holds a Mass of Remembrance on All Souls Day to remember all those who have died in the last year, especially those whose funeral was at St. Charles.
