Back in May, we made an extraordinary $8,000 parish charitable gift to the people of the town surrounding the Mar Moussa (St. Moses) Monastery in Lebanon, helping them fund the development project of a new pork production facility and store, benefitting the whole town and many families.

As winter approaches, the priests of Mar Moussa have appealed to us once more to help needy families pay for heat. To that end, we are drawing on parish discretionary gifts funds to make an extraordinary donation of $7,000, which will help 50 families have heat in their homes this winter ($140/family).
