At St. Charles Parish we proclaim, celebrate and live the more abundant life of God through comprehensive formation in the faith, through a rich sacramental and prayer life, and through fellowship in love.  We invite everyone to encounter the faithful of the Church, your sisters and brothers, and through them to a personal encounter with Jesus Christ, to experience his peace and joy.

THIS WEEK’S SECOND COLLECTION: PORTO CHARITIES

Porto Charities is a non-profit organization formed by Arlington Diocese families who wanted to help their children with intellectual and developmental disabilities receive a Catholic education in our parish schools. 

  • This weekend we have a speaker from Porto Charities speaking on behalf of the organization.

THIS WEEK’S MINISTRY IN FOCUS: LECTOR MINISTRY

  • The role of a lector is to proclaim the readings from Sacred Scripture at Mass. This role is central to the liturgy as the Word of God is proclaimed by the lector. 

  • There will be a lector training for all interested in being trained in proclaiming the Word of God at Mass on April 22nd at 10 am.
