Join Fr. David and fellow parishioners on a walking pilgrimage of "Il Cammino di San Francesco/The Way of St. Francis." This is a relatively new pilgrimage (first guidebook is from 2012) that connects well established trails to trace the footsteps of St. Francis of Assisi. We will depart from the sanctuary of La Verna (where he received the stigmata, outside of Florence) and walk about 15 miles everyday for 8 days until we reach Assisi. We will have communal Mass, evening prayer, and dinner together every day. You can walk at your own pace as you will have ample time to reach each day's destination. You will make your own reservations and book your own airfare. You are free to extend your trip either before or after the parish pilgrimage. Once the group is established, Fr.
