Join Fr. David and fellow parishioners on a walking pilgrimage of "el Camino de Santiago del Norte/The Way of St James, northern route." This route was once the most popular way to get to the tomb of St. James because it was the first area to be liberated from the Islamic Moors of Spain. We will start in Gijon and walk along the Atlantic coast until we turn inland toward the Apostle's tomb. We will average 15 miles a day for 13 days. We will have communal Mass, evening prayer, and dinner together every day. You can walk at your own pace as you will have ample time to reach each day's destination. You will make your own reservations and book your own airfare. You are free to extend your trip either before or after the parish pilgrimage. Once the group is established, Fr.
